Re: Another Titling Question - Model Number?
Bob, I will begin with the stock disclaimer that each state seems to do things differently, and my experience is from Vermont. Several years ago I bought a slightly better than a basket case 57 W-100 Power Wagon. I went in to DMV to register it. Vt will not title vehicles over 25 years old (I think ...

Re: Exhaust finished with my upgrades
Hi Wayne,
Not sure, maybe both! The civi intakes have one plug at the rear, cant vouch for the B1 intakes at all!
I like the flex joint, it should make life a lot easier on the manifold.

Re: Hit 3000 miles yesterday!
Thanks Guys! Of course I jinxed myself, My fuel pump died Wednesday, just about a year since the last one. So, in my experience, an NOS pump will last just about a year. Probably a combinatio of being 50 years old and the ethanol in the gas. Time for a rebuild with more ethanol tolerant materials! W...

Re: Navy M37's
OK, maybe I should have said "and SOME of them were grey"
My Airforce M37 was originally Strata Blue, with OD shot over the blue. Times and needs change, and so do the colors.

Re: replace wire/what guage
It would be a nightmare now and forever to use THHN in a vehicle. It is stranded, but the strands are MUCH larger, ie. not nearly as flexible.

Re: Engine Hand Crank
Hi TR, I havent tried an M37, but on the Power Wagons with winches they had a longer crank. You have to unspool all the cable, bolt on a little guide on the front angle of the winch, and you were off to the races! (or the emergency room if you held the crank wrong!)Not too convenient, but I suppose ...

Hit 3000 miles yesterday!
On a 40 mile round trip yesterday the odometer clicked past the 3,000 mile point since I got it on the road August of 2011. Only came home on a chain once so far, due to a failed fuel pump.

Jethro is correct, the full red lenses are Gamma Goat lenses. I am running them and they are fine. They look right, and give plenty of light.

Re: M37 battery trays
$50? Whats that work out to, about .75 cents an hour? It would for me, and they wouldnt look nearly that nice. Great work and a very reasonable price.
