Back in 2007 I bought this M37 and now that I have retired I am trying to get it running. The distributor has no points or condenser in it. What does one buy at the local parts store for a 1963 M37? Isn't there a parts conversion list somewhere for plugs, points, condenser, etc? Can't seem to find it with the search feature?
Looks like I need to post a smaller picture somehow.

Was searching in the wrong forum, found Napa Echlin CS725A for points and AL869 for condenser in the Technical forum.

Re: M37 Points & condenser
Auto-lite plug # 295 listed above is not the waterproof original type plug for M37, and is not compatible with mil spec waterproof cables. 295 is a civilian plug that would be used in a situation where a system is being converted to a 12-volt civilian set up, and waterproof components are not being used.

Re: M37 Points & condenser
Welcome to retirement, now you will wonder how you had time to work.
Re: M37 Points & condenser
FWIW ... Ditch the points! I did the Pertronix upgrade in my M-37 and I couldn't be happier with it. Very easy to do and you don't have the hassle of the points, condenser blah blah blah.
I did it on a spur of the moment decision and my test drive was a 250-mile jaunt down the outer banks of North Carolina with zero problems (well, other than vapor lock but that wasn't an ignition issue ...)
Just sayin'
Congrats on the retirement -- hope to join you soon!
