My plow rig uses the winch and custom made frame and snatch block to raise and lower the plow, no electric or hydraulic needed.

If I remember correctly, Carter's plow setup uses the mechanical LU-4 winch to raise and lower the blade, no 24v electronics involved.

By his pictures, Carter uses the winch, not hydralics

Yeah, that's what I am missing, someone removed the Winch and PTO.
Likely why there's a 12 v Hydraulic power pack on the truck right now.
( Which had three batteries running it ... can you imagine ? )

Since the Charging system is working well, I want to put high draw devices at 24 V and then I'll run 12v lights and accessories via a Voltage Converter.

There's a lot of data on Hydraulic packs on Plow forums.
I'll hit them and figure out the best solution then report back.

I guess I'm no longer in the right thread, LOL...
I'll start a new one.
