M37 exterior door handles

I need to replace my exterior door handles can this be done with the doors still on the truck or do the doors need to be dissasembled? I bought a pair of NOS handles. I am hoping this is an easy project.

Couldn't be easier..... Remove the 2 sheet metal screws holding them in, slide them out and slide the new ones in. There is a square hole in the latch mechanism and a square rod on the handle.....
