cab on its back?

can you sit the cab on its back without bending anything? I have it off and would like to rest it on the back so I can get to the underside of the dash- rust removal and paint. The thing is quite heavy and I worry about bending something. Just wondering if anyone has set the cab on its back.

Agreed-no issues when I had my cab off-easier to clean the bottom, for sure.

You need to make a brace from dash to back of cab. There is plenty of support at the bottom of the cab but none at the top. You run the risk of bending the floor and making the doors tight.

If I still have the doors on is this necessary, or still a good idea?
I was actually more worried about the back skin, didn't think the floor was that weak.

Yep. You need to keep the door gap correct. It can just be some lumber sticks wedged in.

Used this method. Kept tension on the hoist.
