Hey Crew!
Ok, now we have the official antenna mount and antenna base, does anyone have an antenna??
This is way out of my "wheelhouse" so I need your help and advice.
I have no clue what antenna's will work or look the best. (Well, maybe one. )"Rick"
Although the mount and antenna will be mostly for looks it should be a cool addition to Lori's "M"!

Hi Elwood.
I just sent John an e-mail a few days ago after reading about his last trip to Normandy
in the MVPA magazine. Sure would like to see that truck he brought home with him.
Will give him a call today, Thanks!

I hadn't seen John's accessory page in a long time, and just reviewed it. How interesting. I am out in NE at my mother in law's place, getting ready for a garage sale in her small town, and yesterday was cleaning my deceased father in law's work bench (He fought hard as a BAR man with the 32nd Infantry Div when they took back Buna, a terrible battle in '42), and among his things I wiped off and put away for myself to bring back was an oil can, which is precisely the Eagle marked one on John's site. What a coincidence.
By the way, he told me his BAR was hard to keep running in the mud and muck of Buna, which is coastal New Guinea, so picked up a Garand. He sold me his perfect '43 Springfield Garand a decade ago, he bought long ago from some other chap, it is far too nice to have ever been used in battle. I reload and shoot it a lot. It gets a lot of attention when the en-block pings out after the 8 rounds. I let a lot of other shooters shoot it, a good experience for any person, shooting a Garand.
Well, this was a blast!
Everything just sort of fell in place.
Rick's mount & base along with John's antennas & bag.
Lori done real good on this project. (I told her how to do it)
