Battery Box Grommets

Post by tinmedic »

Looking for a source for the 5 rubber grommets that sit between the floor and the bottom of the battery box. I couldnt find anything at Lowes or Advance Auto.

When I asked the same question a year or so ago I was told you can use the grommets from a set of gladhands. I have one of the original grommets from my battery box that I measured, but like everything else it seems........I can't find that info right now. I'll look later, but no promises.

I took some rough measurements from mine and bought some from McMaster-Carr. I'll keep everyone informed as to the fit.

I picked up some grommets from McMaster-Carr that are a pretty good fit, the part number is 9307K71. These are not exact but they due work. I have extra if anyone is needing them.
