Lots of heat out there! Working on putting an a/c coil to get a/c. You can work without heat but you can't work without tools. I've been trying find excuses to buy new tools lately. I just got a Hypertherm 45 plasma cutter and a Hougen Mag drill and wondered how I've gone this long without them!

Your right about that. Tools make things faster and easier. I have a Thermal dynamics cut master 51. Really great on sheet metal using a straight edge and just drag cut. Hardly use oxy/acetylene torches anymore except to heat something up.
I was thinking about adding a pellet stove when I retire. Could leave on low and would stay warm. I don't really need the AC but heat I like.

I really like the frame attachments you made for the extensions. Did you have your mag drill in time to drill all those holes or just by hand? For that job it would be great.

I used a friends Mag drill and decided that I needed my own. Put the truck outside to clean up the mess in the garage.

What did your Cummins come out of? Will you have to move it forward any for exhaust clearance or can it go sorta in original position?
Interesting project for sure

I tacked up some motor mounts for the 4bt Cummins. It's out of a Freightliner MT35 bread truck. I'm going to have to build new trans tunnel due to the size of the 5spd and the exhaust. The exhaust will run along the trans.
