Bed Paint & Pictures.

Post by Tim Powell »

Hey Crew.
Put the final coats of paint on the under-side of the bed this morning. Flipped it over on the cart and ready for final painting in the morning! Over 100 degrees today so I'll start early tomorrow! Pictures on last page of album!

Tim,
I am finally back up on the site. Hope you and Lori are doing well. Did you use Gillispie by any chance and if so, did you use a reducer or hardener? I can't seem to find any references on what to use and I am ready to paint my bed.

Hey Phillip!
Welcome back my Friend! We are both doing fine, hope you are as well. I used "Diamond Vogal" brand paint made right here in town. It's lead free Olive Drab flat one coat primer/paint. I'm putting about three coats on just because I can. I'm not a body man and never painted anything other than trailers so this is a learning process for old Trucker Tim!

Bed Time for Lori's "M"

Post by Tim Powell »

The bed went right into place like it was going home! Still a long way to go!
Added a couple of shots to the last page of my photo album!

Hey Crew!
Thank You for all the positive input! I'll try and attach a link to Diamond Vogal Paints. It's made right here in Iowa and we have a plant right here in Burlington! Thanks again for the kind words!! http://diamondvogel.com/index.html
