PTO Driveshaft U-joints

Post by N1VSM »

I finally got my U-joints apart. Now I need to locate rebuild kits. The local NAPA folks couldn't find anything in their books - surprising, because they no longer ask me "year, make & model."
Can someone give me some help finding rebuild kits? Also, do the front & back U-joints have the same internals?

I don't have the answer but I want it like you do. I'll pick up some spares when someone who has the knowledge comes forth!.

The front and rear driveshafts take the same ujoints, the intermediate shaft takes larger ones.
The intermediate shaft takes Precision # 304
The front and rear shafts are Precision #305
I would try Midwest Military or A.B. Linn for NOS ones.

Oops, so he was!
Try this: Neapco# 1-0170 (1.5” inside lockup X .938 dia. Cap).
Or, New Holland #39360
The Winch PTO ujoints are harder to come by.
