Proper instrument panel for b1 series M37s?

Post by Nickathome »

Is the B1 model of M37 supposed to have the dash panel with the little screw in red instrument light lenses or did they come with the other style with the more involved lighting? I seem to recall seeing a panel for an M151 and it curiously looked exactly like the one in my truck, or were they all interchangeable?

The B1 series and the 151s used the same dash lights and instruments (same stock numbers) however, I don't know if the panels interchange.

I do not believe that the panels themselves are interchange able the M37 is a larger opening, but the gauges and lights are.
M37s are HMMWV in my world!

The dash panels should interchange w/ all jeeps an trucks under a duece it is a standard, the duces and larger had more gauges an so a larger panel. Other than that the diff is that they went from the metal douglas connectors to the rubber packard type wire connectors, the dash light assy changed at that time also.
