Orig fuel filter still available?

A previous owner removed the original fuel filter from the regulator bracket and plumbed in a modern style in-line filter. I'd like to find an original one, but haven't had any luck. Anyone know where to find one? Thanks!

Some ideas:

1. For every 3 or four truck parts, buy your wife a surprise gift. Yea, I know the ratio is jaded to our side.
2. Covert OPS; Have your parts shippped to work. Keep them in your car until you can convieniently smuggle them into the garage.
3. Mope around like a 4 year old if she frowns on a purchase.
5. Remind her that $ spent on truck parts are not spent in a bar, fishing, or strip club.
6. Remind her that time in the garage with the truck is not spent in a bar , fishing or strip club.
7. Dinner and flowers but alot of truck time and parts.
8. Spread your parts buys out over time, the single man can drop $260 for shocks at the parts store in one trip.. A married man knows its better to buy one shock a month at $65, its easier to justify. I believe their is a fun link from Carl Rienmanns site called "Marriage and Jeeps". A must read.
9. Have a separate truck account. This is what I do,. It is financed from eBay and scrap metal sales. I never have to use household funds for M37 parts.

I do freelance work to finance my truck's needs, can't dip into the family funds at all, especially these days

I know it won't help most of you, but, I spend some of my Social Security monthly deposit to make my hobby purchases and to take Sandy out to dinner several times a month and she never even asks what I use the rest of the money for other than my getting two IRA CDs a year and everything goes smoothly and when it snows I use the truck to plow the driveway and she is happy to have an M37 around and doesn't complain about the cost truck upkeep. I just don't take household money to buy my stuff. I've had an M37 most of our 40 yrs of marriage so she is use to it being around and is glad I spend money on it instead of in the bars, anyway, like Charles, I don't drink!
