Real life work and other car maintenance projects has shelved the M37 for a spell, this seems to be a common occurrence amongst DIY restorers. I did get a chance this winter to go through the 12V wiring in preparation of removing everything to get the body blasted.

Again, rusted fasteners slowed my progress, this time the ones that gave me the most trouble were aftermarket converstion fasteners and not the original mil-spec. Stuff like the small flat head screws on the dash, etc. At least I got the horn out:

While browsing marketplace for a parts-truck with a good body (to save on welding/rust repair), I stubled across an M101a1 in really, really good shape for a great price. I borrowed from the truck fund and am now the owner of a matching trailer to go with the truck.

It was converted to a gen-set and has a gas tank on it, the genset was long since removed and stolen but kept the bed from corroding (just a bit of surface rust here and there, and cracked tire sidewalls, that's about it).

Thanks Gary! I'm not sure why the comment hasn't showed up, looks like the like did. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed it.

I have a work trip over the 4th and have some feelers out on a few immobile trucks within 500 miles that maybe I can work out a deal on, they appear to have solid body panels of all of mine that mine have holes in, and more importantly a tailgate. Between the two I think I can get one runner really quickly and maybe even a long-term restorer to eventually save two M37s. That's the idea anyway, but let's not get ahead of ourselves as I'm struggling to get the wires mapped, lol.

More to come hopefully, I'll post more photos for those that don't particularly enjoy youtube, and I'll also make a walk around of the trailer.
