$11.99 to ship it from the Ukraine? Seems low.
Hmm...

Funny thing about models..........I used to build them as a kid and loved them. I built them primarily because I'd never be able to afford them in real life. But now I can afford an M37.........so no need for the model. But I still have my 1/16 scale Tiger 1 sitting on my printer! Don't think THAT one is in my future anytime.
That M37 model is cheaper here;

Wonder why it has a right side mirror.

Re: Finally a 1:35 M37 Model!
Picked one up myself... Had to have it... think it will be a little bigger than the paper model... Will post pictures of the kit later today for you guys... I did notice it does have quite a bit of detail to it for the size... It does have the option to go with the winch or winch-less... There is no option to relocate the tire from the door to the bed... Also the box shows the canvas rolled up... The canvas is not rolled up you would have to do a little cutting and melting to do that... Also no provision for the antenna... Little plastic and piece of spring wire should fix that I suppose... The headache racks are quite well molded I was surprised... Sad thing is I will get this done before I complete my M...

If you're real creative, here's a pretty incredible R/C model of the M37:

AFV Club is releasing one as well in the "winter of 2016" The Roden kit has 4 small windows on the sprue, does anyone smell an ambulance in the future??
Re: Finally a 1:35 M37 Model!
Some pictures...

The kit is quite small in the picture is a 1/24 VW beetle and as you can see the bed length is about as wide as the VW...
The Black string is included in the kit to wind on the winch spool... Not really impressed with the decals but at a hobby
supply closer to the original decals can be obtained...
None the less I had to have it...
Saw that remote control unit some years ago... just don't have the time to fabricate something like that...I got a Dodge to finish...

I don't think that plastic is the correct shade of OD.

Take all the parts off of the plastic frame and spread them around randomly in a doll house garage and you'd have an exact replica of my truck!

M37s are HMMWV in my world!
Re: Finally a 1:35 M37 Model!
I have enough of a problem cutting the parts off and not losing them on the floor... Makes me want to work on the real thing... I'll have to post some pictures when I'm done...k8icu wrote:Take all the parts off of the plastic frame and spread them around randomly in a doll house garage and you'd have an exact replica of my truck!![]()

Thanks for the pics and info Oddjob. Looks like a decent kit. I will have to pick one up. I thought it might show up in the latest Squadron catalog but not yet.
Has anybody seen this tin model from Russia?:

Looks nice, I would be worried about shipping a fragile model from that far, you may wind up with flat sheet metal by the time it arrives
