WTB-Door window frames and top bow

Post by just me »

I am leaning toward removing my hard top and putting a 'custom' canvas top back on my truck. Similar to the Marine summer top for the M38. I need everything metal pertaining to the softtop.
Let me know what you have. (I'm in AZ)

I have a complete set here in VT shipping may be a killer though ? I have heard of people cutting the rear hoop in half and welding it back together when it gets there..

PM me if interested

I'm a lot closer (Utah) and have the top "wedge" shaped braces along with the rear stakes; sorry I don't have the top hoop or the rear edge window brackets (that the rear stakes attach to).

PM me as well if interested (maybe Ed can provide what I can't which would save you some on the shipping).

Another thought or two: I'm going to the Dillon, MT swap meet and show this weekend and if I can get the missing items there, can complete the set and ship to you. I'm also going to the Camp Delta (Tower Park) meet in CA at the end of this month and could search there as well, if Dillon doesn't pan out, unless you need the framework immediately. PM me with an offer on a complete set or what I have in hand.

Had a bit of weather here and just got power back from Monday's storm. Right now, I should hold off on expenditures and buy a new roof for my house. Thanks for the offer to find the parts. I will probably just make a hoop for a bow that will fit in the holes behind the door and make a surrey style summer top that doesn't use all the fancy hardware for the roll up windows. This way, I don't have to replace all the cut off brackets on the windshield frame and sewing a top will be easier.
Again, thanks for the efforts!

I'll still keep an eye out-no harm in completing my spare set so it's available either for sale or as a backup.
