Morning in Maine
Yet another beautiful morning in Maine.
Wishing I had a driver’s window and maybe some heat…..
Starting to loose space for all the snow we have now….the snow banks are over 6 feet tall (I look up at them when I plow), 10 to 15 feet deep and about 200 linear feet long….going to be one muddy spring.
This Morning
This is two storms ago.

WOW! That's impressive.
This place (western Washington) shuts down if we get an inch or two.

You guys took all our snow this year... we only have a bit over 2' of snow .. normally we have over 6' by now... but with lack of snow we have very thick ice this year... ice fishing is awesome ... just have to stay warm at -50 c

Re: Morning in Maine
SNOW? Is that the white stuff that falls from the sky in winter where you live.
82 degrees here today and not a cloud in the sky. LOL
Had to change to shorts and T-shirt to keep from getting all sweaty.

Re: Morning in Maine
We just got 11" of snow on Sunday and 2" more on Tuesday. Its just a walk in the park.
I gotta move to TN because I'm sick of the snow.

Re: Morning in Maine
It’s interesting I travel to Nova Scotia from time to time. They have just not had the snow there this year like they have in the past. I guess Maine is getting their quota.

Re: Morning in Maine
Here is my other M37 after it makes the cold pilgrimage to the US National Toboggan Championships this past weekend. That’s one of my team member checking out the hardware was have won over the years. This year we came home with Second Place in the Two Man division and Third in the Worlds. Not too shabby. Fun to race with a bunch of friends down a 400 foot chute at 40 mph onto a pond of snow and ice – even if it is mind numbing cold.
A few years ago I would drive the Dodge to the event, but given the road salt and the fact the school bus often passes me along the way, not to mention the cold, and lack of heat – I now have it towed on a flatbed. So much easier and less stressful, worth every penny.

This has been the trend for a while, it can change back anytime.

Congratulations Jim, and the M37 looks good with a light dusting of snow on it.jjefferson wrote:Here is my other M37 after it makes the cold pilgrimage to the US National Toboggan Championships this past weekend.
