I have another line I marked "vacuum front". I would think that goes to the small 1/8" fitting on the front side of the air horn?WHere does the other end attach? In my pre-disassembly photos it is running down the drivers side of the block behind the generator but I can't tell or remember what it attaches to:?

So now three years later the note tags on all my metal lines don't make much sense
The two distributor vent lines attach to the firewall side of the air horn, correct?

There are 2 lines that run behind the generator, 1 is a vent for the master brake cylinder, the other is a vent for the fuel tank. They attach to a short length rubber hose which then attaches to metal tubes inside the frame rail. Neither is needed unless you plan on fording your truck. The distributor vent lines mount on the firewall side of the elbow using special fittings, it's a must that these be in place & installed correctly to prevent the coil from overheating.

David - our vents lines looked like bacon strips, rusted, overall junk. I used standard off the shelf pre-flanged steel brake lines lengths and bent them with my $8 tube bender. Four of my brass fittings were stripped out so I went to ACE and bought inverted flare 90 degree fittings. They were direct replacements EXCEPT the one on the forward air cleaner that runs over to the fuel tank vent. That one has a small brass pitot tube cut at an angle which creates a natural vacumm in that line. I had to heat it up to break the solder and then re-solder it into the new fitting. I was able to bend the correct off the shelf tubes without cutting and re-flaring but I had to add a little extra loop on each side of the dist ones. We put 2 coats of rustoleum on the steel lines before we installed. I'll post some pics.
