Okay guys..........

Post by milstencil »

about 15 years ago I purchased a second 51 M37 that I had plans to restore in my "retirement".
It ain't going to happen :!: This has been a tough decision to make.
I'm too busy with business.
Over those many years I have been on the hunt for NOS parts for the restoration, and
have been quite successful in locating those parts.
I will sell them only on this board, not on ebay or steel soldiers.
I will update the list as I open more boxes in the cellar.
I would rather not ship the large items but can deliver to New Jersey and Aberdeen shows.
The current list of the big items follows:
2 NOS complete headlight units - $140.00 each
1 NOS hot water fender mounted heater kit - $650.00
1 right and 1 left NOS doors. These doors are complete with all the guts and the USED glass
from the original doors - $475.00 each
1 NOS complete inner and outer windshield frame with glass, primed red - $1100.00
1 set of NOS rear fenders - $125.00 for the pair.
1 right and 1 left NOS front fenders - primed yellow zinc oxide - $475.00 each
1 Israeli rebuilt 251 engine complete from water pump clutch and pressure plate - $2100.00 needs a couple of small parts,
crank damper and I have the water pump for it.
1 NOS, let me say that again, NOS 6.2 GM Humvee diesel engine. Complete from the fan
pulleys to the flex plate. Only thing it needs is the vacuum pump. $5500.00 Dusty from
being out of the shipping container.

The truck is also available and has been kept under cover since I purchase it.
As you can see from the above some of the major parts are gone,
but it ran when I "parked it" and has had the brakes and front end rebuilt. Also has a new exhaust
manifold, clutch and pressure plate. The bed is excellent with a great tailgate that came off my truck.
I'm thinking of parting it out, I really don't want to :!:
Cab is so, so. I will be able to get pix once the snow is gone and I can get to my maintenance tent.
Items can also be picked up in Otis, MA about 1 hour east of Albany, NY at exit 2 on the Mass pike.
Thanks,
Rick

Let me know about the tailgate if you decide to go that route, also a spare rim and spare tire holder complete for the bed.

May be interested in grabbing the truck from you and potentially the diesel. Look forward for a couple pics and pricing on it. If you'd rather pull the bed off to sell separately feel free, I have a bed built up already

Hi Bruce!
Will only be going to Aberdeen as a visitor. I'm done doing shows as they take too
much of my time to get ready for. I'll be hanging out with some of the "old" vendors
harassing the customers.
Be well!!!
