COMVEC Show 2012

Post by WarrenD »

This was my first MV show as a vehicle owner and it went very well overall. Can't believe the number of people who have their eyes in their fingertips! I have a few photos of the show: http://www.pbase.com/baywing/comvec2012
I was able to park my M37 next to JT's M35 Guntruck and I think the 2 trucks made a nice display. I will have to have a sandwich board sign made up explaining what a guntruck is etc as it seems very few people (even within the MV community) know that they existed. I was able to talk to a number of new M37 owners and most said my truck got them more enthused about their own project. I did try to steer them all here, so we might have some more nubies soon.
My truck took 1st place in the M37 class (there were 4 at the show).

Warren,

Looks like you had great weather and your truck looks amazing. You did a very nice job on it.

Thanks guys! The weather was less than ideal, it spit rain most of the day but it was far better than the downpours of the last two years. Spent more time talking M37 repair, parts, paint, etc with newbies.
