I saw your setup at Beltring last year and was really impressed.

I am hoping to take the Dodge down to War and Peace again this year so will try and catch up with you at some point.

Cheers

Hey there. Glad you like what we did.

You would be most welcome into our bar (see pic below for those who have never seen it) for a beer or soft drink

We can compare Dodges, and I want to get an M101/A1 so will have a nosey at your trailer too

Thanks for the invite Paul !!

I wont be taking my trailer as it costs enough to transport the Dodge 1100 roundtrip miles as it is !!

Cheers

Welcome to the site, Paul! Thanks for posting pics of your truck and the link to your site-very informative! Thought I recognized your rig, looks like we have a celebrity in our mist. If anyone reads "Classic Military Vehicle Magazine" Paul's M37 was featured on the cover & in an article in the May 2011 issue #120 .

Hello Matt. Will have to dig out that copy. And see if I can get it in again, in its new guise ;)

You guys know Colin Topliss and Max Levell?? They used to be over with the 8th GP guys. Way back when, I had a open invite to "Party" with them those 10 days. Stuart Beeny is another one. I wish we could get that detailed here in the states.

Collected the truck yesterday, and took to the storage so a nice 80 mile drive to get to know it. Only one minor hiccup, flooding the engine when we stopped for a drink but all safe and sound in the team storage facility. Going for another drive tomorrow with the family. All in all a happy Dodge owner. :D

My question is; once you got the truck in that sea container, how did you get out of it?

I could get the door open enough for me to get out, so not too bad.

Some updates. Started the transformation from USMC vehicle to US Army Vehicle (keeping USMC specific mods for now, back story for my display is the Special Forces "procured" it in their own fashion and remarked it...)

I used the vinyl stick on stencils, think I would prefer them to be a little less neat (bit of overspray of the edge etc) but theres plenty of time to redo as I wont be getting rid any time soon ;)

Paul,

The truck is looking good and it looks like you had some decent weather for painting.

Paul,

Nice transformation, how well did the paint match? It's hard to tell from the pictures.
