A Beer on the Bumper 2010

Post by HingsingM37 »

Last Christmas after family and dinner I retired to the garage for a cigar and a holiday ale with the M. I posted the pic in my album. I figured I should start a tradition. Here is this years beer, Sam Adams Winter Lager:

Gonna make it an annual tradition, huh? Careful your truck doesn't become an alcoholic! ;)

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL MY FRIEND, SINCE SAMUEL ADAMS CAN NOT BE FOUND IN GREECE EASILY EITHER. BACK IN THE DAY, THE US AMBASADOR FOR GREECE WAS FROM MASSACHUSETTS CALLED NICHOLAS BURNS. HE LOVED SAM ADAMS, YET HE COULD NOT FIND IT IN GREECE, SO HE WOULD GET IT VIA THE DIPLOMATIC MAIL FROM THE STATES. AND THIS IS ACTUAL HISTORY :D MASTER YOTA, GIVE ME AN ADDRESS THERE IN CANADA, AND I WILL MAIL YOU SOME SAMUEL ADAMS HERE FROM MASSACHUSETTS. :D

David the Sam Adams I can understand and the cigar is good but what I have a question with is the fact that you left your family and retired to the shop to be with your mistress the M! David David David you should never ever disclose your secrets on the internet regarding the other one and yes we all understand one of the family is going to find out that you have this fetish! but i can tell you that I wont be mentioning it! Good luck to you.
have a great New Year!

hb,
I went out to the garage after the family left, although when I was assembling her it would not be uncommon for me to sneak away during the family functions to twist a wrench...
Thanks for keeping my secret safe about my "mistress" I guess its the irresistable smile of that grille and commanding stance  that keeps me hooked.

Bruce, very seductive indeed. Just like the trailer I looked at.....shhhh.....
I'll keep you guys posted on the potential M101.

Thanks for the offer Sotven, but I don't think it would make it past the customs agents. They'd need to open every bottle in the search for contraband, and that wouldn't be a nice end for a good beer. One of these days, I'll have a decent excuse to make the day and a half long drive to the border to cross and get some of my own. Patience is a virtue!

Ya' know, my Grandad had a similar practice, only his alcohol of choice came from the 'still. Ended up in the same spot though...

YEAH, I SEE YOUR POINT ABOUT THE CUSTOMS. ANYHOW, IF YOU EVER MAKE THE TRIP, I THINK YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED. IT IS A REALLY NICE BEER :D

I've recently learned that some of the local beer stores have been willing to special order in some different brands of beer. If I can determine which strore will do these special orders, perhaps I can get a beer and drink it too?!
