Hi Brett,
I was at the point you are not long ago with the brake lines. I sourced a supplier who sold the armored brake lines, and started costing out the line, the various fittings etc, and then compared it to the pre made brake line sets at Midwest Military. I dont recall the cost difference, but it was not huge. If I remember it is 9 pieces. All of them fit just right, length wise. I had to massage a couple, but that is to be expected. I think it was money well spent and would highly reccomend going that route.
Give John a call at (952) 440-8778.
I have done the bend and flare your own on Power Wagons, so I know the work involved.
Good luck,
Tim

Hi Tim. After reading your reply and contemplating a bit, I think you may be right. VPW has them for $140. What does John get for them. It's a little late to call him now. Brett

John has them for $150. VPW shipping and handling will probably be higher than John's. Are VPW's lines the armor line or just standard tubing?

I got a pre bent set. Can't remember if it was from VPW or John. I agree with everything Tim says. Well worth the money in saved time and I've bent my own before. The only one I had to struggle with was the shortest (right front), but that would be true if I bent it myself. Rick

I bought my lines from them this May, I had the same experience. Very high quality, tiny tweak here and there but good fit. Turned out really nicely!

Got my lines from John at Midwest Mil. He treated me right. And they look darn good.
He's got my bussiness. Thanks John. Brett

Go with John, VPWs shipping is outrageous, and John is quick, friendly, and sells good stuff.

As mine is all custom, I had to do my own brake lines, and trust me, it's not fun. I even spent the extra money and got the high end tubing and tools to make my life easier.
