Does anyone on this forum own or have had experience with the Dodge M601? Just wondering how they compare to an M37 or a WC51, two Dodges I've owned/driven and restored.

The M601 is really a WM300 with a few minor changes to meet military specs. Like all the rest; they make a really nice truck once you go through it.

Except for the ride, M-37 is a cadillac compared to an M601.

How so? Could you elaborate some? I've never riden in, let alone seen an M601 in person whereas I have plenty of experience with the 1/2ton-1.5 ton Dodges and M37s.
