I dragged the old girl home today. She is going to be a full on rebuild. Just thought I would share some pix. These trucks are certainly attention getters. Every time we stopped, someone was asking about the old girl. Even had a cutey in a bikini climb in the cab for a photo op

Hey nice truck. Wondering what engine it has, as it looks like the radiator is moved forward.
Thanks,
Will

Good eye...the rad is moved forward but it's because the guy didn't have the right rad hoses so he moved the rad forward so they wouldn't kink.
The guy that I got it from said that it had a 318 in it when he got it but he pulled that and rebuilt the original engine. It's a flathead but I haven't had a chance to verify the exact engine. I suspect that it's the 251 that a lot of Canadian engines had

Nice looking rig. Appears to be pretty solid. Welcome aboard.

Who are you, Benny Hill? You just randomly find bikini clad ladies standing on the roadside?

Nice rig first off.. I saw the fish plated frame and then went back and saw that it is originally an ambulance but what is the electric motor and pulley set up behind the cab ?

When a girl shows up in a bikini and she looks like that do you really question what kind of bus she rode on?

rotfl this is what the scenery is like during the summer at Christina Lake, a small town along the route that the old girl had to travel

the truck had a tilt deck put on it. That's the pump and motor setup. I guess that someone forgot to explain to one of the old owners how a pto works

ding ding, we have a winner. She was actually on a harley and had ridden past, turned around and came back to take a peek

well if we just stick to specs and tech tips the forum gets very dry. Have to have a few chuckles somewhere along the line :D
