Re: 383 Mopar powered M37
I am not really sure what the back rear came out of, I went to a local junk yard with a tape measure, and started measuring the pile of 8 lug rears. I know its not out of a dually because its a 60, not a 70. If I remember right it was 71" wbs to wbs.
Re: NOS parts
When I bought the truck, the guy told me the radiator was new. He worked for the Marine Corps I'm assuming as a wrench, he procured lots of parts. I kinda believe it was new due to the other large pile of brand new parts I got with the truck. I really wanted to use it because it will probably cool b...
Re: NOS parts
Still have it , but I really don't want to ship it. Don't think it would be mint when it got there, the way the shippers are. LOL

Re: WTB M-37 rear diff, and wiring info
I've got 3 good complete axle assemblies 2 front and 1 rear 5.89, probably take $150 each, your pic. I'm just south of you in Maryland right at the line below York.
Re: NOS parts
That is the most fragile of all the parts, and surprisingly heavy. Where are you located?
Re: NOS parts

Re: 383 Mopar powered M37
I have a 71 Power wagon with a 5.7 Hemi/ 727 / 205. I wanted this one to have no electronics at all, but the 5.7 is a good choice for these trucks.
NOS parts
Finishing up my V8 conversion on my 1954 M37, and have some parts I got with my truck that someone may want or need. I'm located in northern Maryland, this stuff is way to heavy to ship. 1. NOS transmission- $500 2. NOS transfer case-$500 3.Super cherry radiator with core support was supposed to be ...

Re: 383 Mopar powered M37
I have been driving it a good bit while finishing up a bunch of little things. The thing ran hot as hell in traffic, hitting 220 degrees several times. I knew the radiator was more then enough to handle mostly stock 383. Radiator was suppose to be good for 700 HP. Ended up changing pulley size on th...

Re: 383 Mopar powered M37
Finally got the wiring done, and the little Vintage air hot rod heater/defroster installed. Still need to figure out what I'm going to do for ducting, but it fits really well, and the heat works great in these things. I've used them in several vehicles, and have never been disappointed. https://57he...

Re: 383 Mopar powered M37
I kind of left that very important part out. I actually ordered mine through Moser Engineering, they make a really nice Dana 60 front axle custom built to length. My short side was really rusty at the seal surface, so I ordered that side as well.

Re: 383 Mopar powered M37
The exhaust clears the front driveshaft by a mile, the only drawback I can see to narrowing the front axle, is the driveshaft gets closer to the transpan if you are running an automatic. Would never hit in my application, but if it didn't have bumpstops, it could get close. Drove it down the street ...
