Re: 1962 M37 Newbie Restore
Finally got the transmission put back together, ready to mate up to the bellhousing. New bearings and seals all the way around. I'm just about done with mechanical things on the truck, it will certainly be a relief to move on to body work and electrical!

I've also got some random crap too if you want to sift through it. Most of this is unusable but keeping it around in case I need some metal.

I say you've come this far, why not honor your dad and keep on going! You know he would love to see it finished. I'm working on a similar situation right now with my dad. He's getting up there in years, and I know what you mean about it's the journey part. It's been a great ride to this point. Maybe...

Just wanted to throw an update out there, still working on it despite the cold! I had a monumental weekend when I finally got the cab mounted to the frame. IMG_1400.jpg IMG_1401.jpg IMG_1406.jpg I think the last photo pretty much says it all. That's me sitting in the driver seat for the first time s...

Hey Everyone, I realized I never entered my serial info into the registry, gasp! I stumbled upon a few puzzles though maybe you guys can help with. The first is the serial number. It has 10 numbers instead of 9, and it doesn't quite fall into the series listed for those years. Here is a pic of it: I...

Re: Master Cylinder Vent Valve and Elbow
I also ran across this:
http://shop.willysamerica.com/Elbow-90-p/gm137421.htm
It matches the part number in TM-1840A (ELBOW-137421). Should work for some of those 90 vent and oil fitting I messed up getting it all apart

Re: Master Cylinder Vent Valve and Elbow
Fantastic! Are those the same brass fittings used elsewhere like on the oil filter housing and vent tubes?
