My Facet pump is mounted on a horizontal piece of metal that is bolted to the frame. It is at a natural break in the fuel line near the rear wheel.

There's a welded piece at the top rear of the doors. It causes it appear as if the door has been modified, but that's how they came.

Re: Slave Connector Jumper Cable Question
The used ones I've seen at swap meets are around 10 feet long and sell for around $100. I think I managed to get mine for $60 or $70, but that was 4-5 years ago.

On my 1954 the lowest layer on both doors is red oxide. On the frame it's black.

Re: M37 v PW radiator caps
My radiator has a metal tube built in that runs from the filler neck across the top of the radiators and then down the side. So wouldn't that mean that there is no pressure in the system no matter what cap is used? Thus you can use any cap that fits? I assumed that this opening is why the manual say...

WTB Transfer Case Brackets
I'm looking for the two large brackets that bolt on either side of the transfer case. They mount the transfer case to the frame cross members.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Jump Seats in '54s
Mine is 80261313, delivered 3-8-54.
No jump seat holes.
I thought this was odd, because there's evidence that it did have seats at one point, just never the jump seat.

Midwest Military sells new tubes for $48 and they come with a puller tool for removing the old one and the 2 water pump gaskets (came to $64.10 with shipping to SC).

Re: Silver Engine Paint
Chrysler no longer makes the MOPAR silver engine paint that matches what we want. I went with Dupli-Color DE 1615 Aluminum, which is supposedly identical to the MOPAR paint. I liked what one reviewer on Amazon wrote about it; "If you're looking for a really shiny aluminum paint, look elsewhere....

Thanks for the replies.
Charles, in the past I've bought things from you because you've had them fabricated in quantity. But I guess that's for things you contract out, whereas something like this you can just make one yourself whenever you need one.
