I bought mine fron Bob Stahl at Veteran Vehicles a number of years ago at a total of 600 bucks and had a local mechanic, a good one, put them in and it is recommended that you plan on replaceing carrier bearings and a full inspection of everything before it goes back together.

Still don't completely have it, BUT I now see that I have been demoted to pfc from my discharge status of E5 and it was done again without proper paperwork or notificaton. I think something around here needs to be tweeked ! Maybe I'd better look at that "premission" thing ! Something else ...

I think that is true about the tune up only that I can't easily correct the thumbnail and size situation. Thanks for the reply. I'll play with it too, maybe I can strarghten it out. Who knows ?

In my pics, they only show as the icon when you get to the album but require to be clicked on to see them and then sized up. How do I get the pics to be visible all the time ?

I'm rebuilding my stromberg from a 318 and find two holes that make no sense to me. They go straight through the throttle body allowing unfiltered air into the engine. I posted a pic in the pic album under Mike Corbett. any help will be appreciated.
