Re: What is the Big Heat Sink In Front of Radiator

That is your Rectifier that converts the AC current to DC before going to you regulator. The 100 amp charging system is for supplying enough charge to operate additional load requirements like field communication radios etc. Your wiring harness is different than the standard 25 amp. You cant remove ...

Thank You for your reply and great info! I'll connect with them as soon as I have a minute. Maybe soon it will start snowing, and I can justify being inside.

Re: Still around, new hobby, military radios!

Hi Guys --- I have a functioning radio set in my M37 and would love to connect with anyone and everyone who has knowledge and can guide me in getting this tuned in and working right. I do not have a Ham License yet, but am interested in the training required, if my radio is capable of use. I have ta...

Re: ethenol gas 15%

Also check around your town for yellow handled ethenol free gass pumps. In my small town of Durango Co. we have 4 stations offering entenol free gas. It is as expensive as premium gas, but most of ours is a high octane premium grade ethenol free fuel, around 90 octane. Check though, because we also ...

We continue to burn here and there, and have gotten quite used to the smoke. When one fire is out, 3 more pop up. we need an El NIN...

Re: WTB ARCTIC Top For M-37 in AZ

Good luck Mark - I hope you can find one close, but they are getting very hard to find. I finally had a MVPA buddy in Washington State, pick me up one out of Canada, for my 51. He is helping me with getting it sandblasted, and rot replacement parts made in a fab shop up there that has helped him wit...

Re: M37 Seabees Picture

I think the word "Acquire" for the Seabees was "CumShaw" but I don't know if I have it spelled correctly. It seems the Seabees / CB's / Confused Ba--ards --- were not issued lots of vehicles, requiring them to cumshaw what they needed. Apparently they became quite efficient at it.
