Closing in on getting the truck back together.

Six months ago, I sidelined the 37 for manifold gasket issues. The gasket between the intake and exhaust had blown out and I was suspecting an intake leak. So anyway, all that is fixed along with valve adjustment.
Now I am facing the most horrifying task: getting the PCV equipment to assemble. My truck hasn't had the PCV valve on it as the exhaust manifold port was blocked with carbon. We didn't discover this until after we installed the power pack so I basically ran road draft out the back port.
So now I'm trying to get the pipe from the rear of the block to mate to the brass fitting coming from the PCV valve and of course, it's not lining up. This is something annoying about compression fittings.
So I'm stalled at this point. Yay.
