I thought I would share my project with the community. It's been a long process so far but I'm very happy.

To start I bought a pretty rough M37. It did have a winch and hardtop but the motor was seized and it had rats nests all over.

Next I hunted down a good donor chassis. I ended up finding a 2004 3/4 ton 4x4 hemi truck with a blown motor and bad transmission.

That should be most interesting! There's a guy on YouTube doing the same conversion.
Thanks for the photos!

It should be a good driver when you get done. Will you connect up the winch?

Unfortunately, the winch won't make it. I sold the entire original chassis to another member here.

More rust repair on the cab. Time was also spent filling various holes and mounts I wouldn't need anymore.

The front cowl vent was rusted pretty bad and beyond my abilities to fix so I filled it in. This will also give room for future heat and air conditioning(maybe).

I finished up repair on the cab bottom so I could get it undercoated and back on the chassis.

Cab mounted on custom mounts. I did end up cutting and moving the in cab bolt locations.

Next, I modified the transmission hump to make it look a little more uniform and fit the new shifter.
