Crush washers

Post by 56c3 »

Hi, does anyone know the napa numbers for the wheel cylinder crush washers? I bought some there in the past but can’t seem to find the numbers now. Thanks in advance.

I don't remember but just bought mine from VPW, plus of course spares, as I often damage parts when installing them, and like to have "back-up" parts readily available. I am sure other vendors have sets of brake fittings available too. NV

I believe the numbers are Napa 3877 for the Inner and 3878 for the outer. If I remember correctly .

Thanks for the part numbers, I am currently replacing all my brake cylinders, this will same me time on running around. Checking the cylinder I notice what may be Very old grease (?) between the boot and the piston.

I bought a set of the NAPA ones and found the outer washer had to be reamed a little bit to fit over the shoulder of the bolt, wasn't a big deal. Just took my dermal and reamed out each washer.
Thanks for listing the numbers.
