Just wondering what everyone uses to care for the rubber seals around the windshields. I have new ones and would like to get them to last forever.

A non-petroleum based grease is recommended for natural rubber. Most people use a silicone-based grease, although I'm partial to the old castor-oil-based red grease from Castrol.
I'm not sure what the new production seals are made from, but if it's a synthetic rubber such as Buna-N (aka nitrile), then it's resistant to petroleum products.

Almost 20 years ago, I found Vinyl weatherstrip in the correct profile for windshields.
It lasted that long, still good when I sold the truck.
I used Vinyl as well on the fenders, same report.
Best plastic to use outdoors.

I use 303 products, their UV protectant spray is great. All their stuff is aerospace grade.
