transfer case drain

Where is the transfer case fill plug....I can see the drain plug on the bottom and another on the side by the bottom...So if TM says fill with 5 pints where is that fill point or do you need a pump to attach to the side plug? None of the pics show a location.....

Lubrication Order LO 9-2320-212-12 states to fill to "plug level".
