Away a month, fired right up

I left my truck down at the beach, near Charleston, partly under cover, as the top hoop is about two inches too tall to fit under our beach cottage. We were out to Nebraska and Kansas for about a month, family business, and Just back down to the beach. I had covered my canvas top with a light wt beach sort of sunscreen, it did keep it dry. Anyway, this morning, went out, took off the cover, and disconnected the battery maintainer, after wiping all the spider webs off my face and neck, and climbed in, and with about five seconds of choke, it fired right up and settled promptly into a steady even idle. Then with a two grandsons belted in, drove a couple of miles to a small shopping center in the rain, and back home for fun. Even my wipers worked fine; I have an electric pump, and a block off plate where the mechanic pump used to be, and tap into the plug on the rear of my intake manifold for vacuum for my wipers.

Just a note to tell the forum guys how nice it was to fire up my '52 M37 and motor away.

all the best.... NV. (aka Hal Copple, SC)

Just got back home and haven't fired up the M37 yet-too busy getting back into everyday life mode.
