MICHIGAN HMV PETITION...

Post by Cal_Gary »

Hello All,
I received this thru the MVPA yesterday. Please take a moment to help our Michigan friends get their HMV titled and street legal! Here is the email with a link to the petition (it also asks for a donation at the end, but that is OPTIONAL):

To All MVPA members:

Please click the link and sign the petition! Support all Historic Military Vehicles in Michigan. These vehicles have safely, and legally been operated on U.S. Federal and State roads by both military and civilians since the 1920's. These vehicles assist municipalities and law enforcement all across our nation. These vehicles represent and honor our current armed forces as well as our veterans while being driven on our nation's roadways. For nearly a century surplus military vehicles have continued to serve safely while honoring their past military service.

Currently Michigan state laws have become very restrictive towards the continued use of these great vehicles. Your help and support in getting legislation passed to allow for the continued use of these vehicles is very important. The passage of these bils would also bring Michigan in line with the vast majority of other states that allow full use of these vehicles.

Please sign the petition and do your part in keeping History In Motion!

Kevin Lockwood

Vice- President MVPA
