Got 3 inches over the weekend, didn't stick to the roads so I didn't get out and play, nor took any pictures, but sure was a shock to the body after another hot summer. Temps are back into the mid 70's this week.

Times are changing, I can remember not all that far back, mid 80's, when snow was not all that uncommon in upstate Pa. where I was living at the time. By the end of Oct. you had the snow machines ready to go and by Thanksgiving you had riding time in by then. In the 60's NJ would have snow by late November and snow on the ground just about steady from the beginning of December on. Now it will snow hard once in a while usually late January to late February and melt mostly in a week.

What is snow? I keep hearing about it, but never see any.

Yea, well. I have been out in that area but not in the winter, I can tell you that it gets pretty chilly at night in the Arizona parts of that desert.
You need to visit the rust belt sometime in February.

We have had some much needed moisture through the four corners area. Every day we can see the snow creeping closer to us down the mountains.

Yep, won't be long-temps are dipping and I'm doing PMCS on my M37 in preparation for the weather.
