I got this truck last October and have been at it on and off since. I did run but just. It had been sitting in a field for quite a while.
Just some of the things I have done
sand blasted and painted rims
installed nos rubber
sand blasted, worked the body and painted the box
rebuilt the carb
swapped out the dist
installed speedo cable
built new wood frame for the cargo box
and a host of other stuff you are probably all too familiar with
Things left to do; Find out why it wont go over 35mph GRRRR!
And some bits and pieces that never end
Many thanks to all the guys on site that helped with information
A special thanks to RSM for parts and badly needed mentoring (when are you coming over for a bbq and beer?)

Point, Great results for your efforts. In a few short months, you have done more than some of us have in many years. Now that you're mobile, you can get with the rest of the Western Command guys when they do road trips and get togethers to show off your work and make some connections. All you need now is a deuce to go with the 3/4T...
Thanks for posting your pictures! Great to see another CDN back on the road.

I think I would need to win a lottery just to keep one of those on the road. The 3/4 ton is bad enough. I do have to get together with the command guys.Jess wrote:Point, Great results for your efforts. In a few short months, you have done more than some of us have in many years.
