engine issue

Post by bobcat1/178th »

hey guys, I'm rebuilding a 230ci. Another guy from my club is doing same.....We have seen some differences in parts......I have a timing gear sprocket that looks like it is two gears on the same mount....it has a cutout down to center that gives it that two gear look. The other engnie has one solid gear sprocket. Its obvious that they take different timing chains. Is that norm for these engnies or is my spocket aftermarket?
