On in HD on TCM right now and a good look at the 1 piece windshield. Getting a good look at it in High Def.

The upper is two originals with a bar bolted in the middle to join them (white like the M).

The two ousters look to be stock OD with windshield hold outs.

the lower looks to be a single piece in OD with only a single in the center closing latch.

Will,
Thanks for posting that. I never noticed that.
I wonder where that truck is today?

What kind or winch is that on the front? It seems to sit more forward because the lower part of the grill is in place. The bumper looks different than an M37 with winch bumper too. Interesting!

It should be in a museum , I hope.

Im guessing the one piece windshield is on there for filming. Sure can see everyone in the cab a lot better than having the split windshield.

Looks like its flying down the highway!

Interesting spotlight mount. I've never seen that before.

The front winch looks like a Braden mu-2 from a Dodge power wagon or WC. The truck appears to have been in TV shows like Hogan's Heros, Mission: Impossible and The Fugitive. They all have the MU2 winch, turn signals on the fender, spotlight, and exhaust stack. The wheels on the truck look like 1/2 ton WC or the narrower civilian Power Wagon wheels and it has Dualmatic lockout hubs. There are more pictures of it here: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make= ... =on&page=1

Great pictures! When I purchased my soft top, I thought it would be cool to be able to roll it up like that.
Now that I've had it a year, I realize I would need to take it off, then put it on again.

I did mine like that quite a few years back, I inadvertently copied their idea, I must get the movie as I don't think I have ever seen it.....
