Hey guys,
This may not be completely M37 related but what the heck it will sure help in the rebuild. I have been looking at 2 post lifts for my shop and I was just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with 2 post lifts? I'm looking at a lift in the 10-12,000 pd range. I have a couple 4X4 3500's and they both have Cummins diesels in them and 1 is a dually so there both kinda heavy. Any body got any experience with any particular makes?
Thanks,
Bulldog

When I was in the AF, bhe base hobby shops usually had either 2 or 4-post lifts in them, and I've used both. Considering the weight distribution of an M37, I'd probably feel more comfortable using a 4-post lift, although there are certain jobs (such as when wheel removal is required) for which a 2-post would be better suited. Either way, if the lift is rated for a high enough load capacity, either would be just fine.

Like Lifer I have used both for my job, if I had a choice at home it would be a heavy duty two post, it's just more versatile.
