Hey Crew.
Posted a few new pictures on the last page of our photo album.
I want to qualify something! Our 1948 Willys is a civilian vehicle. I know that.
We painted it O/D to match the M-37. It's not supposed to be original.
It's a tribute to it's ancestors who did serve.
It's only job is to make Folks smile when they drive past. That's All.

Tim, very nice looking CJ!

A good friend of mine has a 1947 CJ that he is currently restoring. To get around the "not used by the military" problem he plans on painting it up as a period Israeli Defense Force vehicle and throwing a pedestal mount and M1919 in the back. He showed me a couple of reference photos that he'll follow to get the markings correct, it should look pretty slick when it's completed.

"Highway" "Bert" & "Kevin"
Thanks for the help and the kind words. Just finished adding a few more pictures I took today.
Had to move the vehicles out of the shop to get at the Wheel-Horse. Something about cutting the grass?????????
Off to work tomorrow. Be back in a week.

Your motor pool looks great, Tim! That little jeep sure has come a long way since you acquired it.

That flat 24087 paint looks really good. I like it much better than semi-gloss.

Are you going to put the cover on the bed of the truck?

Hey Guys!
Just arrived home after a good long week on the road!
Still have some cleaning & painting on the Jeep. The paint is manufactured right here in Burlington Iowa. "Diamond Vogel Paint Corp."
We do plan on a rear cover for the "M" as time and money allow!
