Thinking I dont want to work out the many dents in the hood with filler.. Too bad.. they showed up after the total sandblasting and primer and coat of OD


so thought I might see if there are any M37 guys with parts trucks close by to maybe purchase a better hood from. Shipping would be crazy so I prefer pick up myself .

Willing to trade partial for the hood I got all nice and clean, just a number of dents in center.. all what looks like banged UPWARD from the inside(what on earth caused this I dont know?

Another alternative you might want to consider instead of a new hood is to have those dents removed by someone who uses the "paintless dent repair" system. It's how they fix hail damage cheaply. They use a variety of tongs and pics and straighten the metal without even messing up the paint. I've seen it done after we had a hurricane and it was pretty impressive and cheap. Their only concern is having access to the back of the dent.....and with your hood that should be no problem. I think if you can find someone who offers that service near you it'll be way cheaper and faster than getting a hood shipped to you. Just my 2 cents.
