Ready for snow.

Last winter I did not have the truck ready and was forced to use my front loader equipped tractor and just about froze my ass off but this time I am ready. I have the mount and blade installed on the M37 and I am all set and if this keeps the snow away, well great. I was ask by a member here for info about how the mount was fabricated so I have added a new album in the pics section of this site for any other folks interested and since no text accompanies the shots feel free to PM me with questions.
Thanks and Merry Christmas guys. Carter

Hmmmmm..............THAT explains why we've had 3" of rain in the past 2 days and it's 60 degrees outside here in Maryland.
Good job Carter......warm rain beats cold snow any day of the week and twice in December.
regards,
bob

Uhm, I guess I have to ask. What is this snow you speak of? Would it hinder my afternoon sailing trip?
Soon as it warms up a bit I'll go do some fiddling on the truck. It is a bit too chilly at 48f right now.

Had A/C on here [Eastern shore of Maryland] for Christmas dinner yesterday. So, yeah keep the snow up there. Snow plow looks great!

How much snow have you Gary?
You are correct Murf & Bob, I am ready and nothing but rain so far so it must be working .
Where are you located just me?
F18, that plow has saved me from a lot of shoveling over the past 23 years that I have used it on the M as well as using it on my WC52 before that.
Thanks for the comments guys.

I'm in the Sonoran Desert. Cold this morning. About 35f. But it will be mid 60s this afternoon and good sailing on Lake Pleasant.

Hope you had a good time sailing J.M.
Anytime you have a chance Gary, M37 in the 18" of snow pics will be great fun to look at.

OK, here we go-the weather was clear when we started out but quickly went lake-effect as we started down the hill. By the time we gassed up and headed back home (elevation 6200 feet) this is what it looked like. The NDTs started wandering once I hit the thinner snow and I considered engaging the 4-wheel drive, but did not. Everyone had to go slow on those 10% grades and I got a number of waves and thumbs up as the other vehicles passed.
Sure was a fun ride although my wife wasn't so keen riding shotgun on a snowy trip with no seat belts (but hey, the MUTT heater did its job on the 30-mile round trip).
Be safe, Everyone-enjoy the pictures!

Thanks for the pics Gary, looks like a fun ride. What type of windshield wipers are on your truck, electric?

Thanks guys,
Those wipers are those AB Linn $79 Specials in 12V. They aren't made for snow so we ran them intermittently. The top half of my side wasn't making good contact either-like driving though a port-hole....
