Hey Crew.
Went out yesterday for a short 450 mile run in the new Freightliner. (All I’m going to say on that subject.)

Arrived home last night just in time for dinner and enjoyed the rest of the evening with my Lori & Aussie. Although I offered to take Lori home to see her Folks and Family today she was worried about me being too tired tomorrow when I leave out for the road again so we decided to stay home.
With the help of my “Best Girl” & and my “Best Dog” we went out in the shop and did some work on the Willys. I had a set of 15” rims and tires (thank you Bill Fry) that came off the Military air compressor. They fit the CJ2A perfectly. This way I can dismount the old tires, clean up the rims and get the new/used tires mounted while the Jeep is still mobile.
I’m afraid I have 2 bad rims so the ones I bought a few weeks ago will need to be put in service leaving me again with no spare! Hope I can salvage one of the “not so good rims”?? They rusted out around the valve stem hole. I guess after sitting 12 years and going through 2 Mississippi river floods I shouldn’t be surprised.
Anyway, it sure looks silly with the short tires and wheels! The helpers seem happy! Merry Christmas!DSCF3012.jpg

Nice pix, Tim! One day I hope to have a Willys too so it's easy for me to look past those white rims!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Pls caution Ms. Lori, those wheels make that Jeep look to fast for her!
