Hood registration numbers

Post by combat32 »

I was wondering what the correct size is for the hood registration numbers/ U.S. Army. My truck is a 1963 B1, I know the 50's era trucks had the 3 inch numbers and letters early on as I had a 53 with the original numbers, on later trucks I have seen the smaller probably 2 inch,

Personally I like the look of the 3 inch numbers and letters, just wondering if this would be correct on a B1, thanks

Here is a pic of my first M37, a 1953 with the big numbers and lettersImage

Looks like 3 inch letters and numbers are what you need for a 1963 M37B1
