Can't Decide on a Top!

Post by PWRWGN NJ »

Hey Guys,

I need some real help deciding on a hard top for my M. Here in NJ, the weather can change in the fall/winter pretty quick. I want to be prepared.

Can't decide whether I want to source a original M37CAN or go with a fiberglass version. What do you guys think?

Do any of you have any experience with the VIntage Power Wagons, fiberglass top? Any pics would be great!

In fact, the more pics, the better.

As an inexpensive alternative, using my soft top frame as a jig, I scratch built a top out of steel sheet, using a deuce and a half rear window.

Can you provide any pics of your finished top?

Apologies for the paint job. It has been about 45 years since this truck was last painted.

Oops. Can't post a photo. I get a message that the thread photo quota has been reached.

Email me at jrccea1 at gmail dot com and I will send a photo and PDF by email.

Beachwood canvas has a top made of some type of vinyl that's really reasonable they say its for the person who works their truck. Is like 195.00 and is olive drab.
