yellow hood accent

I have seen some 37s with the leading edge of the hood painted army yellow and some have the spare fuel can with the top painted yellow or white ,why is that ,confused m37 owner.
He is correct. Mid 1969 the order went out for all 8th Trans Gp units to use signal yellow on the hood. The 8th Trans Gp ran in the Central Highlands from Qui Nhon to Pleiku.
