I think this is part of the auction of the Jack Tomlin collection.

I see a $4500 bid-too much for me to consider; could have been one of Jack's. I had the pleasure of meeting him there in Tooele a few years back-excentric but a nice guy and had a hell of a collection of vehicles.

I believe the M37 went for $6,150.00
The CCKW went for $7,633.00
The MUTT went for $7,707.00

Remember there is a 10% buyer premium plus transportation costs.
Man - I need to start selling more stuff.

So Snake.....are those prices to be considered high or low for the CCKW and the Mutt? I'm asking because I'm clueless in regards to the going cost of other MVs.

thanks,
bob

Forgive me but I'll chime in: The CCKW went a bit high; the MUTT a bit low, based on comparable pricing I've seen over time. The MUTT challenge is to find one "uncut", as there are safety issues if one gets into "stupid" and rolls one as a result-the government didn't want any of these in the public's hands but they've still managed to filter out into the HMV world.

Of course the Mutt went with a trailer.
I would say they were all a wee bit high, considering they were in unrestored condition.
The CCKW being a big truck is a little harder to move, but anything WWII is bringing more dollars.
Recently I sold a rolling WC 62 chassis to Doug Higgins in CO,
Working on selling a WC 3/4 ton command car to Matt Tisdale in KY who is starting to build the replacement rear bodies.
