Cabell Garbee has graciously offered to transport parts & components from M Series Rebuild to the Aberdeen Rally again this year. If you need anything we may have available, please give us a call or e-mail soon. We are currently doing some repairs on a 5-ton dump truck for Cabell. Everything will be loaded on this truck as soon as repairs are completed in 2-3 weeks. This will be the only pick up he will make from us prior to the Rally. Many thanks to Cabell for offering to do this again this year.

Soryy, I don't have any of that sort of stuff.

Peter...

You can get an axe, mattock head, and handle at your nearest hardware store. They won't be OD, but a can of spray paint will remedy that.

Thank you Lifer, but I want the mattock head to be just like the military. Well, I will look for it. Are you going to Aberdeen? Peter Mark

You'll surely pay dearly to get that exact item. I have seen original pioneer tools at shows that were very expensive.

You guys are panicking  Just go to www.armysurpluswarehouse.com and see what they have on the web-site. If that is not good enough get on the phone and call them at 208-529-4753 and ask for Dana, Jim, or Jake.
Of course I get to go there in person and hand select what I have here on my vehicles. Tom

G741 Rally Point?

Having lived in FRED-NECK, MD, I think I can find my way to Aberdeenie. But once there, are you guys planning on a g741 rally point? Is there a booth, truck, spotted cow, that I should look for? Not sure if my son and I can make the trek from the "D" here in MI but you never know. Also wondered if there were any other knucklebusters from MI looking to hump it over to MD?

I am located in Vendor Spots Yellow U4-5 and T8-9.

We'll have a collection of guys from Steelsoldiers, the East Coast Convoy, NCMVPA, and G741 occupying the vendor spaces around me... So stop by and I'll be able to introduce you to some folks or at least point the way to were they are...

I will be leading the East Coast Convoy to Aberdeen again this year. We have folks comming down from Canada, up from Floriday, and over from Michigan participating in the Convoy again (Serial Groups form up and head toward Aberdeen from all over arriving on Thursday).

I'm hosting the convoy party on Friday night again this year although it currently looks as if we will be convoying offsite to a park that Carter knows about for our food and festivities... That way, we can get some grass under our toes and an excuse to drive the vehicles some more. :)

David Doyle will also be set up at my location in case any of you need to build your library... He will have a bunch of his books and other publications.

As far as pioneer tools go, take a gander at the specs on my website for them and remember that local procurement (ie, buying at your local hardware store) is authorized. http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/photos41.htm

Cabell;

Are you gonna be setup in the same spot as the last couple years? I know you mentioned the number locations but that is greek to me.

Glad to hear that David Doyle is going to be there again this year. I like his books, and bought one from him last year and, he autographed it for me. I felt bad though because I had no idea who he was at first. I have two of his books and am definitely going to add a few more to my collection. I have alot of MV books and its always a treat to add to my interests in that regard. David seems like a nice fellow as well.

I'm in the same spots that I've had ever since they made us move off the grassy hill and onto the pavement.... So, if you can remember where you found me last year, you'll be set... :)

David is planning on bringing more books this year. He has a post in the "for sale" section on this site listing some of his titles...

I'm really looking forward to it.

Hey Charles

Any new Canadian M37 parts laying around? ACME trans ? 251 cranks, blocks, anything? Do you know of any PTO that will work on the Canadian trans? Still looking.
